Treatment Summary – Neck Lift

Patient Suitability

The treatment is suitable for adult men and women of sound physical and mental health and healthy lifestyle.
Treatment is not suitable for people with body dysmorphic traits, emotionally volatile personalities, and unrealistic expectations.
Our Neck Lift procedure is not suitable for patients who may require a traditional necklift that involves hospitalisation and general anaesthetic.

Procedure Time

1 – 3 hours

Discomfort Level

Once the treatment area is anaesthetised, there should be minimal to no discomfort.

Recovery Time

14 days of initial healing. Complete healing and the final results can be appreciated over several weeks to months as the tissues settle and heal.

Results

Results are noticeable instantly but continue to improve over the coming days as the swelling settles.

Duration of Results

Results are long-term and last for several years.

Resumption of Usual Activities

72 hours of complete rest after the procedure.
Light activities such as light house chores are allowed after 72 hours
Walking is allowed after 5 days.
Gym & Strenuous activities not allowed for 3 weeks.

Depending upon the type of procedure being performed, we use high-strength topical numbing cream, inhalation (laughing) gas, local anaesthesia as well as skin cooling device to make the procedure as tolerable as possible.

As per new AHPRA & Australian Medical Board guidelines, all cosmetic surgery patients will require a referral from a GP to be able to have a cosmetic surgery consultation.

All cosmetic patients will require a psychological assessment to rule out body dysmorphia before undergoing any cosmetic surgery.
