Welcome to MedAesthetics

Dermamelan® is a professional depigmentation program that aims to improve the appearance of uneven skin tone, particularly in cases of hormonal pigmentation (melasma). It works by targeting the visible signs of hyperpigmentation and helping to promote a clearer, more uniform complexion over time.

While melasma commonly affects females of child-bearing age, it can also occur in men and individuals of varying skin tones. The Dermamelan® system is designed to be suitable for diverse skin types under the guidance of a trained clinician.

Melasma usually affects females of child-bearing age. It is generally more prevalent in people with darker skin types but can also affect lighter skin individuals. Men can also suffer from Melasma.

Important

It’s essential to choose a medically supervised clinic for procedures such as chemical and depigmentation peels. Treatments performed in non-medical environments may not offer the same level of assessment, safety monitoring, or follow-up care.

Choosing Your Cosmetic Treatment Provider

Undergoing any cosmetic treatment should begin with an informed decision. It’s important to choose a provider with the appropriate qualifications, clinical experience, and a commitment to patient safety.

At MedAesthetics, our team of medical doctors, registered nurses, and dermal clinicians work collaboratively to deliver personalised, ethical, and clinically sound care tailored to your skin concerns.
